After the success of London, S.E.N.D Reform England arranged a further 13 protests across England in the autumn of 2023. The objective of these local protests was to raise awareness of our campaign and give families across the country a chance to show their support.
Kent kicked off the autumn protests on 28th September outside County Hall, Maidstone with an incredible turn out. The afternoon ended with Lisa leading 15 SEND Reformers to observe the SEND Scrutiny Sub-Committee.
Next was Leeds where Kathryn and her team held the first S.E.N.D Reform protest in the North and they certainly didn't not let us down! They were supported by the GMB Union who were representing workers in the education sector who are hugely affected by the lack of SEND support.
